Red Onion Pizza & Restaurant in Soutd Windsor

I was craving Indian food, and remembered that I hadn't tried Red Onion yet. We had Saag Paneer and Chicken Curry, and both were delicious. The Saag was spiced just right, and the food was hot and fresh. The owners are friendly and delightful, and I'm glad we chose this spot to feed my craving :)

Delicious food! Love their tandoori chicken. Food is sort of expensive for what it is though. Service is slow but friendly.

Good pizza, lots of tables. You have to order at the counter and pick out canned or bottled drinks. Polite service. I don't recommend ordering a hamburger, though, I think it was a frozen patty. Everything else we ordered was pretty good. Not a bad place to take kids.

They serve Real good food and I love the pizza and what I like about them they serve nothing but beef, Lamb & chicken all good for you.

Samosas are super good. Very affordable. Nice owners. Slow service, but that's because they make it from scratch.

I frequent this marvelous restaurant often because I enjoy the special air that is part of this place. The team is highly welcoming and well trained. The service is certainly fast. Needless to say, the food they cook is excellent. I visited more than once and I was always joyful. The expense is fair. I suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

Authentic Indian cuisine at a great price. Food is cooked to order, so the wait is well worth it. Guests can enjoy a large dining area big enough to handle a large group. The owners are friendly and visited our table to ensure everything was perfect. This 27 year landmark in Knoxville is a must visit.

Great little place to grab a pizza. We took out two large 1-topping pizzas & we loved it. They also serve zabiha / halal. Wonderful! Textbook example of "Do not judge a book by its cover!".

The best pizzeria in Knoxville, TN. But beyond that you can find truly authentic Indian/Pakistani food which is made fresh on a daily basis! If you are looking for a place where you can get a taste of heaven then come here! My personal favorite is an off the menu often - deep dish Keema (ground beef) pizza. The owners are always available to make you a specialty off the menu pizza!

What a great meal we enjoyed! Both our dishes were prepared beautifully and the fresh garlic bread was delightful. We'll be back - with friends.

Got takeout Kadi and a Pizza cause my girlfriend and I were curious about a spot that sells two of our favorite types of cuisine.The Naan is light and fluffy, and pairs well with the Kadi. The kadi is definitely solid. A little hot.These guys know bread. Whatever they know about making good naan goes into making their super light pizza crust and it is great.The sauce was good, nothing amazing(my girlfriend loved the sauce). Not super greasy. Ingredients looked and tasted super fresh. Excited to make this a more regular spot to eat for me. I will caution, I'm someone who loves salt(way too much). And i wish the food had a bit more- BUT that's something easily fixed to personal taste. 5/5

The deli sandwich was really good

Food was great. It is actually pizza and Indian food. Unusual combo but it works! Not really a 'full' Indian menu like in a full-blown Indian restaurant but still a nice selection. My girlfriend had a stromboli and I had curry beef. This is only the second time I have seen beef available in an Indian restaurant (yes, apparently some parts of India have beef dishes - mostly where the population is mostly Muslim instead of Hindu). The beef was great. Noticebly spicy (and I am a chile' head) - which in my mind was perfect. Didn't come with rice but came with a plateful of very good pita bread to dip up the rich, gravy-like sauce. We will go back! We saw a pizza go to another table and it looked great, as well.

Best place for Indian curries

We pulled in to the lot looking for pizza, but noticed they were serving Indian food as well. It was excellent. As other reviews say; the food takes a bit longer than you might expect to prepare, but it is worth the wait.

The food was good, delicious tandoori chicken! But the owner was rode with us! Will not come back or recommend this place for friend.

Just stopped in for lunch and ordered the Mediterranean pizza. I was very pleased w the quality of ingredients and the wheat to flour ratio in the dough was spot on. Almost what i would describe as the perfect crust. Way to red onion.

The worst place ever, the Indian food that they serve is trash, it is like left overs from over a month. The tables, the spoons, everything was really dirty. I could not eat that much because everything was awful. Who wants to pay 15$ for a plate of trash????? I am just wondering why they added Indian food to their menu when they are unable to serve real Indian food. The owner, the man is really rude and offensive. I just hated this place. It was my first and last time.

Best pizza in town! And omg the wings & onion rings are so bomb! The prices is reasonable. Must go for your next pizza night.

The Aunty and uncle there are really nice . Be prepared to wait a bit because they make everything fresh. We tasted their nehari (it’s basically beef masala not the nehari we know in Bangladesh) and tandoor chicken . Nehari is excellent , full of flavor , beef is very soft. They give a nan with nehari with a total price of 13 dollar . It’s good for two if you order one more nan. The tandoor is combination of three leg quarter of chicken , freshly cooked with one nun cut into four pieces . It’s enough for two if you add one more nun. It’s also about 13 dollar . Can Drinks are 85 cent . We will definitely go back for more.

Awesome pepperoni pizza. Wife had a hot Italian sub which she really liked. My daughter got the garlic cheese sticks. I tried one and they were really good. Food was fresh made and hot. Good selection, lots of "gourmet" pizzas to choose from or build your own.

I just got a takeout pizza but it was very good! The atmosphere inside was basic but clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!

Tried some of their Indian food at a food festival. Their Tamarind chutney is delicious. Stop in to try three pizza. Lil price for a specialty pizza but rather support small business. Very tasty. Sweet red sauce.

Finally got the chance to stop in after passing by for years, and I wish I would have came sooner! Although pizza seems to be their main seller, I came for Indian food, and I was truly delighted. The owner happily showed me the Indian food menu and made recommendations. I ordered the chicken curry and it came with naan bread. It was delicious and just spicy enough to help clear my allergy stricken sinuses. I will definitely be back to try more of the Indian cuisine and to try their pizza!
